a little about me…

I haven’t always been a therapist. I came to this work later in life after many years spent as an educator, activist and—most importantly—a gardener.
My time out in the field showed me that all things truly are deeply connected and interdependent. The systems of which we are a part, and the relationships between them--from our families, to our communities, landscapes, histories and beyond—form the ground in which we are planted and from which we grow. And as with any green and living thing, our lives too, need care and kind attention.  My job is to work alongside you in the garden of your heart.
You'll find my approach to be dynamic, warm, and genuine, with a healthy dose of irreverent humor and playfulness. It is my honor and pleasure to welcome clients of all identities and intersesctionalities.
